About NCCS
New Covenant Classical School (NCCS) is a Christian classical school that seeks to help parents to teach their children in the fear of the Lord from Preschool up to Junior High School. With our curriculum and methodology, we design the environment to encourage students to value a deep love for learning.

The mission of this school is to train and equip our children as future leaders with a Christ-centered worldview in order to understand the application of truth, goodness, and beauty in all spheres of influence in the light of the gospel for God’s glory.

Our vision is to be an education institution that serves and impacts our community, city, and nation through the establishment of classical Christian education.
Why Classical Christian Education?
In classical Christian education, all the subjects are interrelated to one another in the Biblical worldview (paideia). This means that the Word of God is put at the center of every subject, whether it is art, science, history, literature, etc.
Considering the cognitive development of a child, classical Christian education applies Trivium method instead of Quadrivium. In Trivium approach, the children’s growth is addressed in 3 stages:

In the Grammar Stage (Kindergarten to Grade-6), children naturally absorb all the information around them. They find it enjoyable and fun to memorize data and as well as choral recitations and chants. They are given opportunities to memorize all types of facts in Science, Math, Geography, English, Bible, etc.

As children grow into the Logic Stage (Grade 7-9), they begin to find the correlation between the facts that they have gathered in the previous stage. Their classes will be filled with the shaping of formal logic, correct argumentation, analysis of information, and deductive reasoning.

After the Logic Stage, the pre-teens thus enter the Rhetoric Stage, in which they learn to express themselves where they are encouraged to write and defend their ideas on matters learned in previous stages. Presentation and debates or class discussion are very common in the classroom. At the final year of the Rhetoric Stage, students will learn how to defend their thesis.
